Endau Rompin Adventure Package 5 Days 4 Nights: A Journey of Discovery off the Beaten Track

Gazetted as a National Park in 1993, the Endau-Rompin National Park has waterfall-laden jungle teeming with animals. Think of it as the place to come when you feel like wanting to experience the  ‘deep Malaysian interior’. The park straddles the Johor-Pahang border. It is 260-million-year-old and the 870-sq-km park is the second-largest one on the peninsula after the heavily promoted and more well-known Taman Negara.

This park is mostly unexplored and for the normal visitor there are only a few trails available in Endau-Rompin.  Exploration is therefore limited. But you will be surprised that what you can see is spectacular. The park’s lowland forests are among the last in Peninsular Malaysia and have been identified as harbouring unique varieties of plant life including enormous umbrella palms, with their characteristic fan-shaped leaves, and Livinstona endanensis, a species of palm with serrated circular leaves.

Endau Rompin Package (Kampung Peta)

We have put together an itinerary which is not rushed and one that will take you to some of the highlights the park can offer. This is a 5 day 4 night program covering the Endau Rompin National Park. There are 2 gateways into the park which are from Kahang or Selai. Note that no trails link these 2 areas.
This package takes you into the park from the town of Kahang and finishes back in this town.

DAY 1
0930 Meet-up guide at Kahang Shell petrol Station, there proceed to Kampung Peta
1130 Arrive at Kampung Peta
1230 Lunch at the Orang Asli village
1330 Boat transfer to Kuala Jasin campsite
1430 Arrive at Kuala Jasin campsite
1530 Group activity – Pitch up the tent
1630 Afternoon Tea
1730 At leisure

2030 Night discover walk

DAY 2
0800 Breakfast and break camp
0930 Trek to Kuala Marong campsite, the journey will take about 1½ hrs.
1130 Upon arrival at Kuala Marong second campsite, pitch the tent
1300 Lunch
1400 Trek to Upih Guling Waterfall
1530 Return to Kuala Marong campsite
1630 Afternoon tea
1700 Trek to Tasik Air Biru for swimming activity
1900 Dinner
2040 Camp-fire
2300 Lights out

DAY 3
0700 Breakfast, physical exercise
0800 Trek to Buaya Sangkut waterfall, the journey will take about 4hrs
1200 Arrive at Kuala Buaya Sangkut, rest & lunch for 1½ hrs
1330 Trek back to Kuala Marong campsite
1730 Arrive At Kuala Marong campsite / Afternoon tea
1800 Free activity until dinner
1900 Dinner
2000 Camp-fire and group games

DAY 4
