taman negara malaysia

Taman Negara Pahang is touted to be the most visited National Park in Malaysia. The size of this national park which is a single swath of protected rainforest is easily the largest in South-East Asia.

With a size of about 4,343 sq km (coveringparts of the states of Pahang, Kelantan and Terengganu) this park is a shadowy, damp, and impenetrable jungle. Although being a national park, it is not easy for visitors to spot wildlife. Only extremely lucky visitors will catch a glimpse of endangered Sumatran rhinos and tigers, while many more will observe elephants, wild deer and oxen, serows, sambars, mouse deer, wild pigs, and other animals from one of the many hides placed near salt licks and waterholes.

Taman Negara Malaysia – Try to spend more time in Taman Negara because the more you put into a visit here, the more you’ll get out of it. Quick and short visits although giving you a taste of what is has to offer is only scratching the surface of this huge ancient rainforest.
